“Birth is like a coastal redwood;
an embodiment of immense physical vitality and emotional growth
rooted in connection, communication, and community.”
– Lou Wickramasinghertz
How Do I Doula?
I support all types of births and all kinds of people. Midwives, OBs, home births and in-hospital, my only preference is that we truly connect and you feel open to communicate your needs with me. It’s my goal that we create trust in the birthing process and the body’s innate power. I will do my best to encourage an organic birth experience, one that embraces the natural unfolding of things and reserves space for you to step into your potential as a parent. I want you to have a satisfying birth however you define it, surrounded by a united care team working with you to accomplish your goals.

COVID-19 Policy
I am prepared to provide virtual and in-person support however it is requested. It’s always my goal to support families in ways that make them feel the most comfortable and safe. All virtual visits are password and firewall protected on a high-speed, fiber-optic network secured by my very own Senior Security Architect husband, Nimesh. In-person care is provided in accordance with the most up-to-date COVID-19 guidelines offered by the CDC and WHO. PPE will be mandatory on my part during in-person visits to protect me, my family, and the others that I serve. My rentable birth support tools will, and have always been, sanitized properly with each use. If you have any further questions, concerns, or request, I’m happy to accommodate. We are all learning from each other during this dynamic, abstract moment in history.
Fee Structure
50% of my fee is due at the return of a signed contract. The remaining 50% will be collected on the 37th week of pregnancy so the focus can be on your care from that point onward. I can be flexible with payment schedules, however, I strongly prefer that payment is settled before baby arrives to avoid any distractions during or after the birth.
