How Do I Doula?
I support all types of births and all kinds of people. Midwives, OBs, home births or in-hospital, my only preference is that we truly connect and you feel open to communicate your needs with me. Hopefully, we create trust in the birthing process and the body’s innate power. Our prenatal sessions will be structured to meet your individual needs whether it be deciding your preferences for labor and delivery or dedicating time to discuss, review and practice any material you’ve learned about birth. It’s my belief that you are fully capable of birthing this child. I will do my best to encourage an organic birth experience, one that embraces the natural unfolding of things and reserves space for you to step into your potential as a parent. I want you to have a satisfying birth however you define it, surrounded by a united care team working with you to accomplish your goals.
Birth Coach Doula Support
As your Birth Coach Doula, our meetings will focus on developing a sense of connection and collaboration so that I will be able to apply a full range of support tools during your labor and delivery to make your transition into parenthood as smooth as possible. My full attendance at your birth will be mandatory and my continuous care will conclude once you and your newborn family are settled. We will meet again within a week after the birth for a postpartum session and I will be available throughout your 4th trimester for any questions or concerns you might have.
